The Hallett Cove Community Children’s Centre recognises the significant role its educators play in providing child safe environments. Under the Children’s Protection Act, 1993 staff caring for children are mandated notifies, who are required by law to report suspicion of child abuse and neglect to the appropriate authorities.”
Criminal History Screening
In accordance with Children’s Services (Child Care Centre Regulations 1998), it is the policy of The Hallett Cove Community Children’s Centre to obtain a Criminal History Record Check to determine a person’s suitability to care for and/or work with children and young people in a paid or voluntary capacity.
All staff as part of our policy, are required to have a current Apply First Aid (Senior First Aid) Certificate In accordance with licensing requirements.
All permanent staff, as part of our policy, are required to have current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training as per regulations.
