EYRE ROOM
Children 3 years of age and finish when they are ready to go to school.
HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE EYRE ROOM
The Eyre Room is a play-based learning environment for children aged three years to school age, where curiosity, connection, and exploration are at the heart of everything we do. We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences and meaningful play, and we intentionally follow children’s interests to inspire and guide our program in engaging and purposeful ways.
Children in the Eyre Room have access to real tools in our woodworking area, where they can develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a sense of accomplishment through safe, supported risk-taking. Our vegetable garden provides opportunities for children to care for living things, learn where food comes from, and develop responsibility and respect for nature.
Creativity is celebrated through our dedicated art space, where every child is encouraged to express themselves freely and explore different materials and ideas. We also enjoy regular visits to our local creek, supporting children to build a strong connection with the natural environment and develop an understanding of caring for and protecting our world.
The Eyre Room is a warm, inclusive space where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn, grow, and explore together.

EYRE ROOM ROUTINE
We have a routine in the Eyre Room, to provide a structured day for the children.
